Pre-Treatment Instructions
6 MONTHS BEFORE YOUR APPOINTMENT
Stop any use of oral medication, such as Accutane’Isotretinoin.
2 WEEKS BEFORE YOUR APPOINTMENT
• Do not wax or use depilatories.
• No sun exposure, tanning beds or use of tanning creams.
No fillers or botox injections.
1 WEEKS BEFORE YOUR APPOINTMENT
Avoid anti-inflammatory/blood thinning medications
Medications and supplements such as Aspirin, Vitamin E, Ginkgo Biloba, Ginseng, St John’s Wort, Omega 3/ Fish Oil supplements, Ibuprofen, Motrin, Advil, Aleve and other NSAIDS have a blood thinning effect and can increase the risk of bruising and swelling.
DISCLAIMER: If you are under the care of a Doctor, please consult with them before stopping any medication.
• Stop the use of any product that uses the word ‘scrub’ in its description.
· Stop the use of topical exfloliants/ actives.
Such as AHA, Retinol, Tretinoin, Retin-A, Tazorac, Dierin, EpilDuo, Zlana, Glycolics and Enzymes. If unsure don’t use it.
72 HOURS BEFORE YOUR APPOINTMENT
• Do NOT consume alcohol (alcohol thins the blood and increases the risk of bruising)
24 HOURS BEFORE YOUR APPOINTMENT
• Reschedule your appointment at least 24 hours in advance if you have a rash, cold sore or blemish on the area.
• Be sure to have eaten and are well hydrated, this will decrease the chances of lightheadedness.
Pre-Treament
Avoid anti-inflammatory medications (ibuprofen, aspirin, tumeric, fish oil) for 3 days prior.
Avoid topical retinols, Vitamin C, BHA's, AHA's for 7 days prior.
Avoid unprotected sun exposure for 3 days prior.
Active acne in area of treatment is contraindicated.
Avoid shaving, waxing, depilatories or exfoliating the area of treatment the day of procedure.
Arrive with skin free of makeup or any other products.
Aftercare Instructions
You can expect redness and swelling on your skin for 72 hours
Avoid direct sunlight and always wear sunscreen 24 hours after treament
Avoid makeup, washing, cleansing or moisturising for 24 hours
Do not touch the treated area for at least 12 hours.
You may experience itchiness and sensitivity on your skin for the first few days.
Only apply products recommended by your beautician
Avoid vigorous exercise, sauna, hot tubs or steam treatments
Book your next session as advised by your beautician
- A non refundable £15 booking is required to secure your booking. This is non-refundable but will be taken off the final cost of treatment.
- If your appointment is cancelled or rescheduled with less than 48 hours notice, this is considered a late cancellation. Your booking fee will need to be paid before a new booking can be secured. If your appointment is cancelled or rescheduled with more than 48 hours notice, you are able to transfer your deposit once only to your new booking.
- All booking fees must be paid before appointment being made in order to secure date & time. This policy is in place to minimise the amount of no shows and last minute cancellations, as they are very hard to fill last minute.
