Before Treatment – Before you undergo any cosmetic treatment, it is important to have a consultation with a qualified practitioner to ensure you are suitable for treatment. This will be your opportunity to ask any questions you have about the procedure and for the practitioner to explain the pros and cons.

Before a chemical peel, you must:

  • not use any type of retinol or retin-A topical medication for at least 48 hours
  • Inform your skin care specialist about any medications you take
  • Not have been on Accutane for at least six months
  •  

Your beautician may also recommend that you:

  • Take an antiviral medication if you have a history of fever blisters or cysts cold sores to prevent a breakout around the mouth
  • Use special lotions to improve treatment, like glycolic acid lotion
  • Use a retinoid cream to prevent skin darkening
  • Stop waxing, epilating, or using depilatory hair removal products the week before the peel. You should also avoid hair bleaching.
  • Stop using facial scrubs and exfoliants the week before the peel.

Chemical Peel Aftercare

Use products with soothing ingredients

Don't pick or pull at the flaky skin

Policies

  • A non refundable £15 booking is required to secure your booking. This is non-refundable but will be taken off the final cost of treatment.
  • If your appointment is cancelled or rescheduled with less than 48 hours notice, this is considered a late cancellation. Your booking fee will need to be paid before a new booking can be secured. If your appointment is cancelled or rescheduled with more than 48 hours notice, you are able to transfer your deposit once only to your new booking.
  • All booking fees must be paid before appointment being made in order to secure date & time. This policy is in place to minimise the amount of no shows and last minute cancellations, as they are very hard to fill last minute.
